Controversial YouTuber, Comedian, and social activist is under fire after saying some very horrible things about Coach Prime and his son. He went so far as to offering a 20k bounty on Colorado Buffaloes quarterback and son of Coach Prime, Shedeur Sanders.
Like many Blacks who disagreed with Coach Prime leaving an HBCU, Jackson State football program, to coach at predominantly white college, Charleston White sounded off expressing his discontent and dislike for Coach Prime's decision.
Coach Prime brought a lot of attention to HBCU college football at Jackson State, as well viewership, revenue. However, when he decided to take the coaching job at Colorado, Black Twitter, HBCUs, students, and parts of the Black community were torn and fractured by the separation.
The Roland Martin Show covered the discussions and criticism of Coach Prime. Many other social media platforms and the general media weighed in on Coach Prime leaving Jackson State to coach at Colorado.
Charleston White, a man of many words, faces, and opinions, decided to go to YouTube and go on a crazy rant about Coach Prime and Shedeur after their brutal loss to Oregon Ducks. YouTube investigated it and decided to shut down White YouTube channel after learning about the negative comments.
This isn't the first time White's YouTube channel has been shut down. Two years, ago his channel was shut down due to controversial comments in his videos. White, since coming on the social media scene, rose to fame by talking about controversial subject matters regarding race, community violence, rappers, Trump, etc.
White can be very disrespectful at times, but very intelligent about different topic matters. But, his feud with Rap-a-Lot Record CEO, J. Prince, various rappers, and different influential individuals in the Black community, has left a bittersweet taste.
He is a self-proclaimed activist. There are videos circulating showing some of his community work, but his image is tarnished due his disrespectful language and reactions to many important and sensitive topics in the Black community.
Though White has raised some valid points and called out concerning issues within the Black community, such as violence, gangsta rap music, and lack of accountability, he failed to lead by example.
White is a walking contradiction. One minute, he speaks on helping the youths, but later goes in on Boosie Bad Ass, T.I., and Finesse 2 Times' children on social media in an extremely derogatory way. He has also admitted to calling the police on young Black men and brag on his most notable video of him spraying Souljah Boy with mase.
Even though Charleston White speaks about community building, saving the youths and racism, he is seen wearing a confederate flag and giving praising those that rebelled against The Union.
How can anyone take Charleston White serious? What is his act all about? Do he truly care about change in the Black community?
Charleston White has been extremely controversial, reckless, and disrespectful. He has many enemies, and when attending public events or engagements, he brings a security staff.
Recently, he was trending on social media regarding his fallout with TK Kirkland, a well-known and revered comedian who is best known for being mentors to Mike Epps and DL Hughley.
White was offered to host TK's comedy tour with Live Nation. However, after several successful shows, White left the tour allegedly due to him not being paid. TK tried to clear it up, but fans weren't buying it. Then, comedian Scruncho went on the Corey Holcomb show to express his distaste for TK and talked about knocking TK out over something disrespectful TK had done.
It really appears as though Charleston White is always in news. He once mentioned that a lot what he says is for laughs, views and content. Nonetheless, he has created many enemies in many places.
Undoubtedly, he is unfiltered and unapologetically Charleston White and will no longer be seen in the YouTube streets, at least not on his own platform.
