Colorado Buffaloes pulls off another victory over the Nebraska 36-14

Colorado Buffaloes took on Nebraska Conrhuskers in Colorado, and with all the hype around Coach Prime and his press conference last week, upsetting 17th ranked TCU, 45-42, the Buffs ran over the Cornhuskers, defeating them 36-14.

Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders (2) looks for somewhere to pass as he is be chased by Nebraska Cornhuskers defensive lineman Blaise Gunnerson (97)

The Buffs is now 2-0. They haven't been 2-0 since 2020.

After a tough first half, Colorado ended it putting up 13 points due to turnovers. But in the second half, they turned up the dial and took off-winning by 22 points.

Although Shedeur Sanders was sacked several times today, he was 31 of 42 with 393 yards and two touchdowns. He has definitely put himself into the Hesiman conversation and on the national stage.

Nebraska had four turnovers, a missed field goal, and six penalties. Their QB Jeff Sims struggled with two dropped snaps in the first half and an interception that turned into a touchdown and field goal for Buffalo.

Colorado's second half appeared to be very strategical and focused on moving the ball down field by scoring three touchdowns. A game that started to look like a defensive game turned into a blow out.

Travis Hunter had play 69 of 77 snaps on offense with 3 catches and 73 yards. On defense,

he played 57 of 63 snaps with 4 tackles and 1 pass breakup.

Though there were obvious errors by the Buffs, there is still room for improvement. There is a whole season ahead them to fix those issues. This is a young team that is on a natural high due to its energetic and charismatic Coach Prime and his experienced coaching staff that's leading the way.

Up next is Colorado State Rams, 0-1. Colorado will be the favorites to win as their schedule will become harder.

Colorado selling out today speaks volume as to what Coach Prime, his coaching staff, and team is doing. There will be criticism and uncomfortable conversations about how far Colorado will go and if they can compete at the higher level, but one thing for sure, the Buffs is looking to compete and win each regardless of the naysayers or non-believers.
