Travis Hunter added to his list of accomplishments on Tuesday. The Colorado Buffaloes two-way star picked up All-Pac-12 first-team defensive and second-team all-purpose honors.
The Jackson State transfer ended the season as one of the best shutdown corners and led the country as the only player with 200+ snaps on both sides of the ball. Hunter had 31 total tackles with five PDUs, and 3 INTs on defense. He also added 57 receptions for 721 yards and 5 TDs, despite missing three games to start Pac-12 play.
Hunter is the true definition of a generational type talent. He was a game-changer for Deion Sanders' first year in Boulder a two-way force the world hasn't seen before. A fair amount of analysts says he's like Charles Woodson, but he plays the game with more tenacity than the former Michigan star.
It's going to be great to watch Hunter's progression over the course of the off-season going into his junior year. He's among an All-Pac-12 finalist group for the Paul Hornung Award, recognizing college football's most versatile player.
The Buffaloes also had quarterback Shedeur Sanders, defensive back Shilo Sanders, running back Dylan Edwards, and punter Mark Vassett named to the honorable mention lists.
